The bar at O'REILLY'S is dominated by a magnificent mahogany back bar, 30 feet long and 15 feet tall, with a canopy supported by gracefully tapered pillars. The remarkable installation, with its illuminated stained glass panels, is breathtaking.
20 beers, stouts, ales and ciders are on tap at all times, and a wide range of bottled beer is available, including imports and microbrews. The 20 taps which are clustered at intervals along the bar are solid brass, specially fitted for O'REILLY'S and mounted on tall green pedestals.
A striking feature above the bar is a three-lamp fixture dating to 1875, which originally hung above a billiard table and was fitted for gas lamps. Covering the rear wall of the bar is a hand-painted mural of life-size portraits of world-famous Irish writers, including Oscar Wilde, W.B. Yeats and Samuel Beckett.
